Industry-Academia Collaboration and Innovation Incubation Center

• Oversee the end-to-end management (project lifecycle management) of government research grants and industry-academia collaboration projects, including application, contracting, funding disbursement, and project closure.
• Administer applications for private university institutional development grants and manage the accounting, reimbursement, and allocation of administrative overhead fees derived from research projects.
• Manage the full lifecycle of university patents, patent inventory audits, maintenance fee renewals, and intellectual property consulting services.
• Serve as the secretariat for the Intellectual Property Review Committee, handling technology transfer licensing, accounting, and royalty distribution.
• Organize and mentor faculty-student teams for domestic and international invention exhibitions and innovation/entrepreneurship competitions.
• Provide administrative support, facility management, and business mentoring for incubated enterprises, while managing the Product and Service Sales Center operations.
• Execute government industry-support projects and facilitate faculty professional development and field experience in industrial settings.
• Foster industry-government-academia strategic partnerships and assist academic units in establishing educational alliances.
• Manage the call for papers, peer review, proofreading, typesetting, and publishing operations for the Tajen Journal.
• Aggregate and report institutional key data to the Ministry of Education’s Higher Education Database.

Career Development and Alumni Service Center

• Overall management of center operations and strategic planning for career development and alumni services.
• Planning and execution of grant proposals for government-funded career guidance initiatives.
• Establishment and network expansion of regional alumni associations and departmental alumni groups.
• Planning, execution, and resource allocation of on-campus and off-campus fundraising initiatives.
• Delivery of university-wide student career development, professional skill training, and employment support services.
• Implementation and administrative management of the University Competenc Assessment Network (UCAN) platform.
• Organization and hosting of campus-wide job fairs and recruitment events.
• Administration of student professional certification incentives and submission of related institutional database reports.
• Execution of graduate tracking surveys and submission of required data to the institutional database.

Dedicated to the goal of lifelong education and aligned with national development policies, the Center aims to upgrade human capital and advance the knowledge level of society. The scope of services is outlined as follows:

• Establish Effective Lifelong Learning Mechanisms and Strengthen Recurrent Education In line with national education policies, institutional teaching characteristics, and future developmental goals, the Center offers recurrent pre-bachelor’s and pre-master’s degree programs for working professionals to bridge theory with practice, enhancing national human capital and overall competitiveness.
• Elevate General Interest Programs and Enhance Course Quality and Service Collaborating with industry, government, academia, research institutes, and domain experts, the Center designs practical and diversified continuing education courses to fulfill lifelong learning needs for the general public and implement the vision of education for all.
• Advance Professionalism in Lifelong Education and Strengthen Vocational Training Addressing contemporary employment conditions and industry workforce requirements, the Center utilizes Employment Stability Funds from government labor authorities to deliver technical talent training and support employment.
• Expand Community Education and Cultural Enrichment Programs Leveraging campus resources and facilities, the Center supports community members in personal growth, partnering with the local community to elevate educational and cultural standards.
• Advance Toward E-Learning and Digital Distance Education By upgrading basic IT infrastructure, strengthening staff training, and working closely with academic departments, the Center actively drives continuing and extension education toward digitized distance learning platforms.
• Administer National Competency Certifications and Skill Assessments Organizing and hosting immediate test-and-certify assessments, National Technical Skills Competency Tests, GEPT (General English Proficiency Test - Online), Hakka Language Proficiency Certification, Indigenous Languages Proficiency Certification, ILTEA International English Certification, TQC / TQC+, ITE, EEC, and computer-based certification examinations for occupational safety and health management classifications.

Center (Office) of University Social Responsibility

• Project Management & Execution Oversight Overall coordination of USR (University Social Responsibility) project proposals, implementation progress monitoring, budget reconciliation, and outcome reporting.
• Interdisciplinary Resource Integration Matchmaking and orchestrating cross-departmental faculty-student teams to integrate social practice into teaching and curriculum design.
• Local Community Engagement & Deep Cultivation Aligning with community, industry, and government needs to build sustainable and mutually beneficial local partnerships.
• Outreach & Impact Marketing Organizing achievement exhibitions and managing social media platforms to promote and amplify University Social Responsibility impact.
• Sustainability & Impact Assessment Benchmarking against UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to conduct social impact evaluations and quantitative performance assessments.
