◎Goal

◎Faculty
Including adjunct members from the Program in Fire Science, this department has 19 full-time, with 80 percent above the level of assistant professor. Disciplines of the faculty members cover the broad areas of environmental engineering and management, and occupational safety and hygiene.

◎Facilities and Labs
All facilities and instruments are state of the art. Including Audiometer, Ultrasonic Flow Detector, Spectrophotometer, Phase Contrast Microscope, Noise Dose Meters, ICP, AA/GAA, IC, GC, UV/vis, GC/MS, HPLC, etc.

◎Courses description
Special attributes are to educate professional occupational safety and hygiene managers, promote the quality of occupational safety and hygiene management within Taiwan's work environment, improve the work place environment and reduce occupational injuries, and improve relations between employer and employee.
