Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs
Since the year of 1999, the international affairs were handled by the Department of Technology Research and Development. In order to strengthen the development of international academic exchange program, Tajen University formally established the Center of International Program in the year of 2004 to deal with the progressively growing number of international affairs . In addition, to achieve the goal of becoming "the most popular University of Science and & Technology in Asia”, the center as an independent department to enhance on international student affairs and oversea educational collaborations.
Later in the year of 2013, the center has been renamed as Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs and further expended the organization to three subdivisions.

The office mainly engages in the following programs and areas of international cooperation.
Interaction with Sister Universities:
The interaction between Tajen University and sister universities is active, continuous, and fruitful.
International Visitors:
The office arranges accommodation and all the other details in advance for all visitors.
Study Abroad Program:
Tajen University strongly encourages students to major in foreign languages and literature at their junior year abroad.
Study Abroad Program:
In a drive to promote globalization and respond to the policy of recruiting more international students pushed by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, Tajen University has been effective and fruitful in the recruitment of students from overseas.
Exchange of Students:
Based on equal terms, Tajen University exchanges students with sister universities.
Visiting Faculty and Staff
Tajen University invites scholars from sister universities to offer intensive course or to give lectures.
Summer Program:
Under the request from sister universities, Tajen University provides summer courses for student groups from sister universities.
